as for makeup or hair, check out the EGL bibles. from what i've noticed though, most loli's keep their hair and makeup very very simple and plain, whether it's because they aren't talented enough to do good makeup and hair, or if it's just not considered EGL i don't know. they usually do have very elaborate manicures, loads of rinestones, and even lace or feathers glued on. but from what i've gathered most japanese lolis are just rich kids with loads of daddys money to blow on super expensive off the rack clothes, very few in the bibles wear things that they actually made. the goth lolis and visual kei kids however usually DO have some good makeup and hair, much more creativity in that scene. i'd check out cure and shoxx mags for them, and they have tutorials as well
